Position Information
The Traffic Section of TxDOT-TPP is looking for a Traffic Monitoring and Highway Performance Monitoring Program (HPMS) Data Analyst to manage the validation and reporting of traffic data and statistics, and to provide leadership and guidance to our analysis team. Experienced Traffic Monitoring and HPMS professionals may be a good fit for this role, which involves leadership and collaboration, trouble shooting data issues, and completing data processing to develop HPMS data and reports. We are looking for individuals who have experience with STARS II, or who are willing to learn this system.

Monitors and implements measures to ensure data quality. Responsible for using standard statistical tools, methods, and techniques to translate data into actionable insights using data visualization software. Works under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment
