How You'll Create Possibilities

EHS Operations (60%)

  • Provide functional support to operations teams, leveraging engineering controls to eliminate hazards and prevent incidents.
  • Partner with teams to conduct audits, inspections, and self-assessments, ensuring adherence to compliance and risk management standards.
  • Analyze data trends to identify strategic opportunities and improve processes using tools like Gensuite.
  • Deliver engaging and timely EHS training while staying current on regulatory requirements.
  • Support environmental compliance initiatives, including air emissions, water discharge, and waste recycling.

Culture & Communication (15%)

  • Promote open communication and foster a problem-solving culture that empowers employees.
  • Serve as a technical resource, providing timely and accurate responses to EHS-related inquiries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed EHS into operational excellence and business strategies.

Management Systems & Compliance (25%)

  • Implement and maintain EHS management systems to ensure sustainable compliance and performance.
  • Standardize high-risk processes, including lockout/tagout, ergonomics, and overhead crane management.
  • Participate in incident investigations to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and share lessons learned.

What You'll Bring to Our Team

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of driving sustainable results.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and drive change in a team environment.
  • Experience prioritizing and managing multiple assignments effectively.
  • Familiarity with Human and Organizational Performance (HOP) principles is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor EHS professionals.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of EHS experience - implementing environmental, safety, and/or ergonomics compliance programs.
  • Completed or working on BS or BA Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline/experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS or BA Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline/experience.
  • Proven knowledge of OSHA, DOT HMT, EPA regulations.
  • Experience working with Union workforce.
  • Knowledge and application of the principals of LEAN manufacturing, and six sigma.
  • Audit experience or qualifications.
