Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 25%

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 25%

These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon your achievement of performance goals and targets.

The (AVP or VP) Relationship Manager plays a strategic role in developing and managing client relationships as we expand our non-recourse lending platform with Commercial Real Estate. This position is responsible for originating, structuring, and closing loans across various asset classes, including multifamily, condominiums, industrial, and hospitality.

Responsibilities:

  • Structure, underwrite, and close complex non-recourse lending transactions
  • Serve as the lead relationship manager for a portfolio of clients, including sponsors, developers, and institutional investors
  • Conduct credit due diligence, financial modeling, and risk analysis to support underwriting and transaction approval
  • Prepare and present detailed credit memoranda to internal credit committees
  • Monitor portfolio performance, covenant compliance, and overall credit risk
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of market conditions, regulatory developments, and competitive positioning within the non-recourse lending space
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, risk, capital markets, and operations teams to ensure seamless deal execution and servicing
  • Drive business development initiatives and strategic client coverage to grow assets under management and fee income

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in commercial lending, investment banking, or structured finance, with a focus on non-recourse or project-based lending
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex credit relationships and originating new business
  • Deep understanding of credit risk, collateral structures, legal documents, and non-recourse financing frameworks
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • Strong analytical capabilities, including advanced financial modeling and valuation skills
