For the B. Braun New Ventures Team in Freiburg, we are searching for a Product Maintenance Manager for Robotic Surgery to work within the R&D team.
Duties and responsabilities:
- You manage discontinuation and change processes to ensure the availability and the continuous improvement along the product lifecycle
- You restablish and optimize new processes and team structures specifically for end-of-life topics to ensure efficient product phase-out and knowledge transfer
- Your support and control complex product changes at all levels (component, sub-system and system) and all phases of the change control process
- You manage and work closely with suppliers and different B. Braun manufacturing sites
- You collaborate intensively with various departments to ensure change implementation, change verification, documentation and quality
- You You are part of and work in an interdisciplinary scrum team of hardware & software engineers as well as test, manufacturing, supply and quality engineers and product management
Professional competencies:
- You have an engineering background with a minimum of three years’ experience in a regulated industrial field (medical, aerospace, automotive) in product development, supply chain or manufacturing and in working closely together with different suppliers & manufacturers
- You posses proven communication and organizational skills with in the scope of both internal and external partners for mechatronic products
- You know industry standards related to development, manufacturing, and supply processes
- You earned experience in change management, change control processes, and end-of-life strategies for products
- You gained experience with SAP and supply chain management tools (e.g. Silicon Expert) -- would be plus
Personal competencies:
- Strong analytical skills, ability to plan, organize and implement complex and concurrent tasks
- You are an excellent communicator with strengths in interface management and a hands-on executer with a finisher mindset
- You can balance well between attention to details and timely execution
- You are able to communicate fluently in English and German
