Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Employ technical expertise in immunology & oncology research to perform & develop in vitro/ex vivo assays within short timelines to help achieve milestone decisions.
• Evaluate emerging scientific literature, participate in scientific meetings, & stay current with new technologies & adopt them as appropriate.
• Partner with colleagues outside immediate organization to develop novel technologies & methodologies that will lead to the discovery of novel therapeutic targets & therapies.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

Must possess a Bachelor’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Biology, Pharmacology & Toxicology, or a highly related field of study & 5 years of industry scientist work experience supporting immuno-oncology or therapeutic programs.

Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Biology, Pharmacology & Toxicology, or a highly related field of study & 1 year of industry scientist work experience supporting immuno-oncology or therapeutic programs.

With either combination of education & work experience, must have 1 year of experience in each of the following:

1. isolating, differentiating, & culturing sensitive primary human & mouse immune & cancer cells, performing MLR (mixed lymphocyte reaction), & MDSC suppression assays, mouse & human T cell activation & proliferation assays, cytokine analysis via ELISpot, MSD, Luminex, & AlphaLISA assays;
2. performing protein & cell-based assays to support small & large molecule therapeutic programs;
3. analyzing & interpreting high parameter flow cytometry data; &
4. developing & delivering scientific reports to project teams & senior scientific & business leadership through oral presentations, poster presentations, & written reports.

Additional Information

Salary Range: $143,489.75 - $157,500.00 per year.
