THE WORK

  • Develop, lead, and execute comprehensive capture plans to pursue new or recompete business opportunities
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential opportunities and assess competitor activity and stay informed about industry trends and developments
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external customers, stakeholders, and partners
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine capture strategies
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs, preferences, and pain points to inform value propositions and strategy
  • Create and deliver high-quality proposals, presentations, and other capture-related materials that showcase our company's capabilities and how we deliver value
  • Analyze and mitigate risks associated with capture efforts, and develop contingency plans as needed

Basic Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in managing competitive capture opportunities for US Government contracts, with a strong track record of success in securing new or re-compete business
  • Mature understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and/or agency-specific regulations
  • Experience developing, fostering, and maturing internal/external customer, stakeholder, and partner relationships
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a strong foundation in business acumen, effective communication, strategic planning and implementation
  • Experience leveraging flexible, adaptable and versatile principles to navigate competing priorities and assignments to meet commitments
  • Experience in developing and implementing focused capture strategies, including value propositions, win strategies, and competitive intelligence assessment

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in commercial or international capture management, with a deep understanding of global market trends and customer needs

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
