CAAS Next Generation Programme Office is looking for a strong, driven, and dynamic esteemed engineer candidate to be part of the team.
You will be part of the multi-disciplinary team overseeing the entire life cycle management of next generation Radar Systems, starting from system planning and system design phase to implementation phase and transiting to operations and maintenance phase.

The ATMSSP is responsible for conceptualization, implementation, and management of multiple IT and Operational Technology (OT) systems.
In this role, the officer is expected to undertake the following areas of work:
Radar Project Delivery
- Plan and manage Radar projects and ensure alignment of project to the user objectives within established scope, cost and schedule
- Coordinate and work with other teams for building and network infrastructure integration, ATM integrations and resolve deployment and integration issues
- Lead and liaise with other technical teams to resolve impediments, incidents and issues
Governance, Risk and Compliance
- Ensure system compliance to CAAS and Government (Instruction Manual 8 and Cybersecurity Code of Practice) requirements, policies and standards
- Ensure risk and safety framework is adhered to and carry out risk and safety management for radar projects
- Identify and mitigating risks which may impact the successful delivery of the radar systems
- Supporting audit and addressing findings
Vendor contracting and management
- Managed vendors and contractors to meet the project delivery and operation needs
- Perform procurement of the systems, including its evaluation of the proposed solutions
Stakeholder management
- Work closely with multiple stakeholders both internal and external (including other government agencies, system suppliers, maintenance operators, operation users, IT consultants/auditors etc.)
- Coordinate, liaise, support and conduct meetings to facilitate and validate the implementation in accordance with national and international cybersecurity standards and requirements
[What we are looking for]
- Trained in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or equivalent with preferably 3-5 years of relevant working experience in project management and system implementation
- Experience in project management, vendor management, incident management, problem management
- Experiences with the operations or maintenance of safety critical systems (for example radars) are preferred
- Possesses knowledge or understanding of Radar systems’ architectures and environments
- Strong experience in managing business, IT and senior stakeholders
- Sound understanding of the technical aspects of systems integration in an environment with diverse technologies
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence to gain consensus from multiple stakeholders when required
- Familiarity with Government IM8 and CCoP and ATM domain will be an added advantage
- Good analytical skills, and able to multi-task and deliver results in a timely manner
- Excellent technical troubleshooting skills
- Self-driven, creative and team-oriented person with good interpersonal and organizational skills, positive attitude and able to work under pressure
- Ability to travel for overseas visits, meetings and training
[What we are looking for]
Your appointment designation will commensurate with your relevant work experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance, and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure or subsequent contract renewal.
