Responsibilities
- Daily reconciliation of internal data to participating brokers via position, trades, cash, NAV, and fees
- Maintain relationships with brokers to fix daily breaks, while continually improving processes long term
- Liaise with external software vendors to troubleshoot current processes and propose improvements
- Support clearing and settlement processes for the following asset classes: Equity, Fixed Income, Derivatives and FX
- Investigation of queries raised by trading desks, other departments, and counterparties
- Maintain and navigate data such as security master within our systems to help minimize and investigate breaks
- EOD trade processing and reporting of daily PnL for various markets
- Ability to identify areas of improvement, scope requirements and assist in implementation of automation
Qualifications
- A degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or other related fields. CFA a plus.
- 3-5+ years of experience in capital markets operations
- Fundamental awareness of global markets
- Extensive communication across trading teams and software development teams
- Interest in post trade infrastructure
- Desire for fast-paced environment and “to wear multiple hats”
- High level MS Excel knowledge is a must: Comfortable with Look-ups, Pivot Tables, and Conditional Statements
- Buy Side experience is a plus
- Task Management via tracking software such as JIRA is a plus
