Aufgaben

Job Responsibilities:

1. Data Migration Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive data migration strategies for different templates (E.g.: ECC to S4, S4 to S4) that are in scope for SAP transformation project, ensuring alignment with business objectives and implementation plans. Should be able to understand different MB process like P2P, O2C & RTR.

2. Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of data migration specialists, providing guidance and oversight throughout the migration process. Should be able to drive efficiencies by cross utilization and other pro-active resource management measures.

3. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with functional and technical stakeholders to understand data requirements, define migration scope, and ensure stakeholder needs are met. Able to conduct different workshops with ITx units to execute the overall migration plan.

4. Data Quality and Integrity: Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance throughout the migration process by conducting data profiling, analysis, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation.

5. Migration Tools Management: Define a comprehensive set of ETL tools that suite the overall execution of data migration in a factory model set-up. Design and manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using tools like SAP Data Services, LSMW, LTMC, and Syniti. Bring Innovative ideas of using latest cutting edge technologies to automate the migration process. E.g: Possible use of AI for Migration use cases

6. Documentation and Reporting: Define Maintain comprehensive documentation of data migration processes and provide regular project updates to stakeholders.

7. Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve data migration issues promptly, collaborating with functional consultants as needed. Track issues throughout the migration life cycle and ensure issue resolution in timely manner for the overall project success

Skills:

1. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of SAP data structures, SAP ABAP, SAP Data migration tools (e.g., SAP Data Services, LSMW, LTMC), and proficiency in SQL.

2. Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

3. Additional Tools: Experience with Syniti tools or other third-party migration tools is beneficial.

4. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements is essential.

Qualifikationen

Education : B.E (any field) or M.B.A (General Administration)

No of Years: 15 years

Specific Knowledge: (Skill / Languages etc.)

  • IT Project and Program Management – Should have managed a large portfolio of projects/topics in one or more domains. A good record of accomplishment of grooming the topics as well as the people involved and showing a significant growth would be necessary.
  • Should have a development background – Java/.NET and should have worked in Agile Development teams with a good exposure to Scrum/Kanban and DevOps methodologies.
  • Proven to be a good “out of the box” thinker and should have contributed to some innovative topics
  • Proven excellence in stakeholder and customer/partner management
  • Proven experience in Business Acquisition and Solutioning for new topics/setup
  • Experience in driving projects/topics using metrics/KPIs – Data driven decisions and steering
  • German Language Skills will be an added Advantage.
