The Help Center Technician works under the direction of the Director of Information Technology. All duties are performed in cooperation with all areas of the College and in accordance with the plans and policies of the College. Hours will vary and will be determined by the needs of the College each semester.
JOB DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Works through problem solving/trouble shooting process with customers when applicable
Setting up new network hardware and software
Diagnosing and resolving network issues
Regularly checking network connections, cabling, and devices to e3nsure they are functioning correctly
Implementing and maintaining security measures, such as antivirus software
Documenting network configurations, layouts, and troubleshooting procedures
Performs and assists with IT related tasks as assigned
Perform other duties as assigned
