A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Graduate Trainee in Customs, you will be a part of the team responsible for managing goods on behalf of other Siemens Energy entities. Your day will involve supporting customs and Intrastat procedures. You'll ensure compliance with internal rules and regulations while playing a key role in facilitating the smooth and accurate handling of cross-border shipments.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Closing customs transit documents
• Preparing customs declarations
• Submitting customs declarations to the relevant authorities
• Monitoring and controlling the entire customs declaration process to ensure accuracy and compliance

What you bring

• University degree in Economics, Trade, Law, or a related field
• Proven experience in customs processes, including import, export, special procedures, and Intrastat reporting
• Solid knowledge and experience in project finance management, including forecasting and cost control in complex environments
• Excellent communication skills with strong adaptability, time management, and organizational abilities
• Intercultural awareness and experience working across multiple geographic regions and time zones
• Proficient in project management tools, as well as Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint
• Fluent knowledge of spoken and written English
• Availability to work from our Bucharest office 3 days per week, with 2 days remote
