Morgan Stanley are looking to for an infrastructure / IT project manager from the financial services industry with experience in provisioning and installing electronic trading infrastructure and/or low latency technology.
The role will focus on critical day-to-day activities including Data Center network switch installations, CoLocation builds, external client connectivity, extranet services and ordering of cross-connects. This role is hands-on, in a fast paced and high-volume environment. As an IT project manager, you would be responsible for multiple ongoing projects throughout their execution cycle to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope and timeline. As a member of the team, you will own the installation and coordination of new electronic trading infrastructure bringing full lifecycle project management. The candidate will collaborate with partners in the business, technology and risk and control functions. This role is not application focused but rather network infrastructure readiness in the low / ultra-low latency arena.
