Your Role

As the Information Security Risk Manager (m/f/d) you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks related to information security across our organization. You will lead efforts to protect our digital assets and implement effective risk management strategies to ensure prioritization of efforts, compliance with industry regulations and best practices. You are open to filling an existing department with inspiring ideas.

Your Responsibilities

• Guide information security asset owners and information security champions in Business Units and Functional Units in assessing and evaluating risks.
• Follow up on risk assessments and treatment plans to ensure effective mitigation and coordination of different roles within the risk management process.
• Prepare and plan board decision meetings focused on information security risks.
• Maintain the information security risk register and report on the status of active information security risks.
• Support internal/external audits of the ISMS.
• Represent Kuehne+Nagel in security committees and working groups.
• Work on continuous improvement tasks in the scope of the ISMS.

Your Skills and Experiences

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information security, or related fields.
• Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in information security risk management or a related role.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
• Relevant certifications such as, CISSP, CCSP, CCSK, CISM, or GSEC.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to think critically about security issues, a AWS Security Specialist certification would be beneficial.
• Team-oriented work and good communication skills.
• Responsible handling and prioritization of tasks.
• Fluency in English.
