Our Coyote Missile Principal Program Quality Lead (PQL) in Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS), will support U.S. and foreign programs within the Coyote portfolio at our Tucson, AZ location. In this role, you'll drive a robust quality culture, practices, and collaboration efforts.
As the primary quality interface for the product Integrated Product Team (IPT), you'll be responsible for ensuring the program meets all Quality & Mission Assurance requirements. This includes coordinating with functional Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and overseeing scope of work through all integrated product development phases, from design to production and sustainment. You’ll be the customer’s advocate internal to the team, ensuring we meet our obligations and expectations.
The PQL develops and monitor quality metrics to drive proactive continuous improvement initiatives, working closely with integrated teams to enforce process rigor. In the Program Quality role, you will support contract start-up activities, production and sell-off. You will primarily engage our factories and suppliers that aid the Coyote portfolio, implement quality processes to reduce overall product lifecycle cost and risk.
The PQL shall monitor quality metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives, working closely with integrated teams to enforce process rigor, transition to production activities, you will conduct Production Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), First Article Inspection, and Quality Control Plan efforts and play a key role in Material Review Board (MRB), Change Control Board (CCB), and Risk Review Board (RRB). Working as part of the QA Team, conducting day-to-day Quality Assurance activities whilst engaging with key stakeholders across the organization.
The PQL will be responsible for ensuring reviews and assessments of program performance are performed, including technical assessments of systems, lessons learned, technology, and programmatic (cost, schedule, and risks and/or defects) practices assuring Quality management System (QMS) processes are defined and implemented.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
