Our business delivers essential, timely analysis to a diverse client base, including financial institutions, power developers, utilities, and other stakeholders through specialized products and customized analytics. This team innovates and analyzes market-critical aspects both now and in the future. Team members are encouraged to explore the energy industry from the unique perspective of advising influential market participants.
What You’ll Do:
A Power Markets Analyst at FactSet is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing power markets datasets that guide FactSet clients' decisions. This role includes understanding how energy transitions and political changes impact existing power plants and the development of new ones. The analyst will build and maintain databases of global wind, solar, and thermal plants, along with other essential energy datasets and analyses. The analyst will gain expertise in the regulatory and market environments in which these plants operate and how these factors influence their operations and profitability.

You'll need to demonstrate your ability to work both independently and collaboratively, addressing tasks with rigorous, timely analysis. Salary is just one component of our compensation package and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, and certifications.
The budgeted amount range for this position in the State of Colorado is $65,000-$80,000.
