Salary: $140,000-150,000 Base Bonus

Job Description:

This position will have four direct reports and be responsible for managing the North America region. Preferably the candidate will have a background working with an international company. The candidate must have strong experience in chance management.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a small, yet powerful HR team on the East- and West Coasts:
  • Manage the HR team to support ~160 employees within North America
  • Provide HR leadership and direction, ensuring HR excellence across all HR disciplines within North America
  • Collaborate with both local direct reports and HR peers in Europe to achieve project goals and deliver results
  • Drive progress amongst international HR teams, virtually on a regular basis and in person as needed
  • Define and implement HR vision:
  • Champion internal HR and groupwide projects, processes, and best practices that enable a high performing organization
  • Partner with Internal Communications, Corporate Development, Legal, and Finance teams as well as key stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable HR deliverables
  • Solve complex problems and foster innovation:
  • Tackle complex challenges within your team and the leaders of the group
  • Drive continuous improvement by interfacing with internal and external stakeholders and the global HR team to optimize processes and procedures
  • Influence a global HR mentality by building a culture which empowers your team and our colleagues to strive for united success
  • Build and empower high-performing teams:
  • Develop, and motivate HR and management teams, fostering productivity and engagement
  • Support a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and professional growth
  • Demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit, influencing business growth through strategic HR initiatives
  • Manage HR lifecycle:
  • Collaborate with your team on business partnering, HR operations and HR Administration responsibilities to establish one North America HR team with regards to processes, systems and partners we work with
  • Encourage a culture of collaboration and knowledge exchange among the diverse global HR units, especially with regards to Employer Branding, Talent Acquisition and Talent Management
  • Maximize the advantages offered by our global HR services

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience leading and managing an HR team, with proven success in managing complex organizational and cultural change situations, preferably in an international company
  • Demonstrated experience delivering upon establishing global HR processes as well as digitalization know-how and project management skills
  • Experience actively driving global change management processes
  • Ability to effectively communicate HR concepts and solutions to both HR and non-HR stakeholders, both verbally and in writing
  • Proven track record of building and motivating high-performing teams, fostering individual and team growth
  • Strong business acumen and get-things-done quickly mentality
  • Exceptional problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Change Management, HR Management) preferred
