SUMMARY

The manager, HR Compliance is responsible for ensuring Andersen’s adherence to federal, state and local employee regulations. This role proactively identifies compliance requirements, collaborates with key internal and external partners and leads compliance-related initiatives.

Additionally, the manager, HR Compliance develops and delivers training programs to keep management informed on compliance matters. The individual will work to ensure company policies, procedures, and practices comply with federal and state employment laws.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Stay up to date on current and proposed federal, state (we have locations/employees in most states), and local employment laws, assessing their impact on the company. 30%
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive alignment on compliance strategies. Partner with HR leadership, Legal, IT, and other departments to ensure compliance with evolving regulations. 20%
  • Lead the assessment, planning, and implementation of new compliance initiatives. Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and documentation to support HR compliance. Manage work plans to ensure initiatives meet company needs and regulatory deadlines. 15%
  • Lead and manage the company’s immigration program. 10%
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for compliance-related challenges. Provide training and guidance to managers on compliance topics, ensuring best practices are understood and followed. 10%
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration to implement compliance solutions effectively. Monitor and evaluate compliance initiatives, applying lessons learned to future projects. 10%
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. 5%
  • This role manages a team of exempt and non-exempt employees focusing on executing compliance related work including professional and performance development

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience with a focus on compliance.
  • Demonstrated capacity for gathering and scrutinizing data to identify issues, opportunities, patterns, and sustainable business solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of HR compliance, employment laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex compliance issues.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Ability to build cross-functional partnerships and influence key stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and compliance standards.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $99,216-$153,784.

PROFIT SHARING: In 2025 Andersen has set a profit sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
