About the role:

We are seeking a Director of Product – Platform & Data Engineering to lead the development and delivery of our global data and platform capabilities. Reporting to the Senior Director of Product, this role will work closely with the Directors of Data, the Senior Technology Director for Platform and Data Engineering, and other product teams to ensure alignment with and execution of the company's strategic vision.

Additionally, this role will oversee the product strategy for Information Security and Enterprise IT, working closely with their respective Technical Directors.

This position requires high levels of strategic thinking, technical expertise, and leadership skills to drive innovation and excellence across our data and platform products.

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

• Collaborate with Directors of Data and the Technical Director of Platform & Data Engineering to align product strategy with capabilities and business objectives.
• Support the Technical Directors of InfoSec and Enterprise IT in shaping their strategic initiatives and roadmaps.
• Define and drive the product vision for platform and data engineering, ensuring long-term scalability and innovation.
• Partner with engineering, design, and broader product teams to ensure products align with JET’s strategic vision and customer needs.
• Develop a comprehensive product roadmap, including a strategy for “Data as a Product,” anticipating market trends and technological advancements.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for new products and features, ensuring long-term sustainability and differentiation.
• Oversee the platform and data product portfolio, ensuring ongoing enhancements and proactive innovation planning.
• Stay ahead of industry trends in data architecture, platforms, and emerging technologies, leveraging them for a strategic advantage.
• Lead and mentor a team of Technical Product Managers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and customer-centric thinking.

• Proven experience in product management, with a strong focus on data and platform products.
• Deep understanding of data architectures, platforms, and modern technologies.
• Proven experience with agile development methodologies.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience leading large, cross-functional teams of 20+ people.
• Ability to think strategically and convert ideas into actionable plans.
• Passion for building and delivering innovative data-driven products.
