En ny og spennende mulighet har dukket opp hos oss i Kongsberg Discovery som Produksjonsteknikker/operatør, Manufacturing Operator. Du vil jobbe med våre hydroakustiske undervannsensorer som opererer på store dybder og overvåker fysiske og biologiske egenskaper under vann.

Ansvarsområde:

• Produksjon i henhold til prosedyrer og prognose
• Delta aktivt i selskapets Lean program, og forslår forbedringer som kontinuerlig videreutvikler våre produkter og prosesser, der du ser de.
• Aktivt følger selskapets prosedyrer og lovverk for Helse, miljø og sikkerhet
• Førstelinje vedlikehold av avdelingens maskinpark og små reparasjoner, utskiftninger og ukentlig rengjøring

Kvalifikasjoner og erfaring:

• Fordel med fagbrev i produksjonsteknikk, plast og kompositt eller relevant erfaring med polyuretan-arbeid, men ikke et krav
• Kjemi-bakgrunn eller -ekspertise er en fordel
• Gode kommunikasjonsferdigheter i norsk og engelsk (muntlig og skriftlig)
• Generell kjennskap til IT-verktøy. Fordel med kjennskap til ERP og AX

We are looking for a dedicated new production operator, a Manufacturing Operator in Kongsberg Discovery for embedding hydro-acoustic underwater sensors that will be able to operate at great depths.

With us, you will join a highly competent team of colleagues that share knowledge and help each other. As a manufacturing Operator you should be accurate, show integrity, be tidy and have a technical understanding. You will receive thorough training to deliver according to our quality standards

Key accountabilities

• Production according to procedure and forecast
• Participate actively in the company's improvement LEAN program. It is expected that you suggest improvements to continuously develop our products and processes
• Actively participate in our company’s Health, Safety and Environment procedures and regulations
• First-line maintenance of our machines solving minor issues, replacement procedures and cleanliness

Qualifications and experience

• Preferably certificate of apprenticeship in manufacturing techniques (produksjonsteknikkfaget), certificate of apprenticeship in polymer and composites (polymer og komposittfaget) or relevant work experience
• Chemical background or experience is an advantage
• Good Verbal and written communication skills in Norwegian and English
• General IT knowledge. Preferably knowledge from Enterprise Resource Planning System, AX
