Position Summary...

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Product Manager to join our Walmart Data Clean Room team. This role is integral to the development and success of our data clean room products, providing a unique opportunity to engage in end-to-end product development, from inception to launch. The ideal candidate will collaborate with various business units within Walmart, work with top-tier cloud vendors, gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies, and drive the monetization of use cases. This role offers substantial opportunities to gain hands-on experience with technologies such as SQL, Python, and advanced AI/ML techniques, including Generative AI.

What you'll do...

  • Have a comprehensive understanding of the Data Clean Room space or quickly learn about it. Explain various clean room features and use cases to stakeholders at both technical and business levels.
  • Meet the aggressive deadline to onboard businesses onto the Walmart Data Clean Room.
  • Address a variety of challenges, such as unblocking technical product design issues, overcoming process challenges, removing friction in data onboarding, and improving user experience to drive adoption.
  • Own the responsibility of monetizing use cases for the data clean room within a business unit at Walmart.
  • Engage with a diverse group of stakeholders, including Core Engineering, Architecture, Data Governance, Data Engineering, Product Marketing, Design, Sales, Legal, Support, UX, and External Engineering Teams from Cloud Vendors.
  • Work collaboratively with various internal teams, especially from different business units.
  • Hit the ground running from day one to achieve goals.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience: Proven experience in a Product Manager role, particularly with Data Clean Rooms, SQL and Python.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of Data Clean Room, knowledge of different Walmart business units and their respective business models, understanding of Ad-tech, and core data-related technologies.
  • Skills: Collaborative with various internal teams, guiding them through data clean room adoption.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve technical design issues, process challenges, data onboarding friction, and improve user experience.
  • Goal-Oriented: Focused on achieving targets and meeting the deadline for onboarding a business unit.
  • Team Culture: Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, independently driving product roadmaps. Office presence required 5 days a week for collaboration.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to a specific plan or program terms.

The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00-$286,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 7 years’ experience in product management. Option 2: 9 years’ experience in product management or related area.

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 6 years’ experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of accessibility best practices and join us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart’s accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.
