About the Role:

A Network Operations Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of an organization's network infrastructure. Key responsibilities and requirements for this position.

• Network Design and Implementation: Manage the development, installation, and operation of network systems, ensuring they meet performance, security, and compliance standards
• Operational Support: Provide day-to-day operational support for network infrastructure components within data centers and branches to ensure system availability, optimal performance and reliability.
• Monitoring and Maintenance: Develop and implement monitoring, maintenance, expansion, and recovery plans to ensure network reliability and responsiveness to demand changes
• Strategic Planning: Research and provide strategic direction on new technologies and products to enhance network capabilities
• Change Management: Oversee change management processes, including documentation, scheduled outages, and operational procedures
• Incident Management: Deliver incident reports, conduct root cause analysis, and implement action items to prevent recurrence
• Reporting: Provide regular reports on network operations and performance.
• Budgeting: Establish and manage budgets for network operations and equipment.
• Contract Management: Work with vendors on optimizing new and existing contracts for network equipment and services.
• Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities – knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes.
• Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training.
• Maintain a working knowledge of the Bank’s written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description.
• May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert.
• Actively learns, demonstrates, and fosters the Umpqua corporate culture in all actions and words.
• Takes personal initiative and is a positive example for others to emulate.

• May perform other duties as assigned.

About You:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field

At least 5-7 years of experience in network engineering

2-5 years in a supervisory role

Relevant certifications such as ITIL, or CISSP is preferred

Strong knowledge of network architecture, performance management, and emerging technologies

Job Location(s): Ability to work fully onsite at posted location(s).

We offer a competitive total rewards package including base wages and comprehensive benefits. The pay range for this role is $103,000.00 - $150,000.00, and the pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
