Position Description

ADP is hiring an API (Application Programming Interface) Implementation Consultant I.

ADP is seeking an API Consultant to join the API Implementation Team. This person is responsible for implementing Benefit API Integrations between ADP Workforce Now and third-party benefit vendors. This seamless connectivity will transmit client benefit settings, enrollment data and demographic information.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive API projects with effective communication, project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Effectively manage API projects in various stages of implementation.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to effectively implement API solutions.
  • Configure API Integrations to ensure accurate, reliable, and secure transmission of data.
  • Provide technical guidance and training on ADP benefit plan administration module.
  • Analyze and review benefit plan polices to meet system requirements.
  • Create and code EOI (Evidence of Insurability) connection projects.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and review system discrepancies.
  • Understand client business issues and concerns and recommend and implement appropriate solution
  • Build long term relationship and trust
  • Exchange routine information with members of client project team, including priorities, timeliness, issues as they arise

Required Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years Benefits Experience
  • 2 years Customer Service
  • Basic Project Management Skills
  • Time Management, Organization, and Communication Skills
  • Analytical & Critical Thinking Skills
  • High School Diploma, College Degree Preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

  • Proven ability to maintain focus and work effectively with multiple demands
  • Ability to work both independently to provide solutions to the client and as part of a team to accomplish tasks
  • Strong client relationship skills including the ability to influence client and guide the client to best solution to help resolve their client needs
  • Must be comfortable working in a performance-based and structured environment while demonstrating high ethical standards
  • Must be able to recognize basic procedural issues as they arise, and escalate to the appropriate level
  • Ability to demonstrate learning agility and critical thinking skills and apply basic concepts in new situations
  • Proficient in the latest web technologies and working knowledge of various operating systems
  • Excellent analytical skills and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office

Pay Range: $18.7 - $37.88

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions.
