Role and Responsibilities

The Samsung Electronics Product Management team is looking for a candidate to fill a key position supporting Launch Operations for Samsung’s ongoing Mobile product launches. Candidate will focus on supporting core areas including: building and leading presentations, project management, risk management, cross-functional coordination & communication, data capture/communication, and more as necessary. This position is responsible for driving communication and operational excellence and discipline within the cross-functional teams. This position will be the command center across Product, Sales, Marketing, Retail, Customer Care, PR, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, business operations, and Channel Accounts and is responsible for the consolidation of plans & status.

Role & Responsibilities

Project Planning and Execution

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation for product launches.
  • Lead weekly status meetings with cross-functional teams to ensure product launches are tracked and executed effectively.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and expectations are set

Presentation and Communication

  • Create and deliver cross-functional and executive-facing presentations highlighting progress, challenges, outcomes, and solutions
  • Implement a structured reporting framework to provide strategic insights into product launch statuses, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, cross-functional partners and timelines.

Collaboration and Coordination

  • Work closely with product, sales, marketing, retail, customer care, PR, logistics, supply chain management, business operations, and channel accounts to track end-to-end launch across the organization.
  • Analyze and compile multiple data sources, collaborate with sales and marketing teams, and synthesize inputs to create necessary outputs.

Risk Management

  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product launches
  • Gather feedback and lessons from stakeholders and customers to inform future product launches.

Problem-Solving and Expertise

  • Proactively identify and challenge activities that may detract from planned objectives, managing conflict resolution to lead to solutions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, work independently, and be considered a go-to individual for information by cross-functional teams. Determine the approach to work and processes.

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Project Management, Communications, or related field
  • 6+ years of professional experience in project management, go-to-market, or leadership in a cross-functional environment
  • Strong project management skills with experience using tools such as Confluence, Jira, and MS Project
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage diverse teams and stakeholders
  • An analytical and strategic mindset with the ability to solve problems and make data-driven decisions
  • Exceptional time management and prioritization skills
  • Knowledgeable of program management best practices
  • Advanced reporting skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • A proven track record of managing multiple projects at the same time

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project management certification
