Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and user-focused Business Analyst to join our product and technology team. In this role, you’ll work closely with stakeholders, designers, and developers to translate business needs into effective, intuitive digital solutions. A strong grasp of UI/UX best practices and experience with Figma is essential to ensuring we deliver seamless and user-centred experiences.

Mandatory Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a business or systems analysis role within a digital or software-focused environment.
  • Proficiency with Figma or similar design tools, and a strong understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices.
  • Experience writing UI/UX and functional specifications and user stories for development teams.
  • Familiarity with project management and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex user experience and design thinking concepts as well as technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, end users, and cross-functional teams to gather, analyse, and document business requirements for digital systems and applications.
  • Co-ordinate and support the analysis and implementation of digital business solutions across multiple projects.
  • Evaluate existing processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements based on best practices and business goals.
  • Work with designers and product teams to apply UI/UX principles, using tools like Figma to develop wireframes, mock ups, and interactive prototypes that enhance the user experience.
  • Translate user and business requirements into clear, actionable functional specifications for developers and QA teams.
  • Use data and process modelling techniques to define system architecture, behaviours, and data flows.
  • Develop and execute system test plans and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solution quality and integrity.
  • Support project planning efforts by contributing to scope definition, resource estimation, and timeline management using appropriate project methodologies (e.g., Agile).
  • Create user guides, training materials, and documentation to support successful product rollouts and user adoption.
  • Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing support during system implementation and beyond.
  • Act as a key liaison between business units, product, design and the technical team, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications/Certifications (Optional):

  • Experience working in Agile and cross-functional product teams.
  • Exposure to usability testing, user research, or A/B testing.
  • UX or business analysis certifications are a plus.

Salary Range: >$100,000
