CTG is seeking a Dynamics Lead or Architect with Dynamics 365 experience to work on a contract that could be a contract to hire for our client in Canada.

Duration: 6 months to 1 year (Contract) – Could extend or be contract to hire

Location: Quebec, Brossard, Montreal office from time to time

This work supports government departments, so appropriate work authorization is required.

Job Overview

The candidate plays a critical role in the digital transformation of the organization, overseeing the replacement of the existing ERP (Dynamics AX) with a modern, integrated solution (Dynamics 365). This position requires deep technical expertise to design, develop, and implement robust and scalable solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and be able to collaborate effectively with technical and functional teams to ensure the success of the digital transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret business needs: Analyze business needs and propose tailored solutions to support digital transformation.
  • Design and development: Design and develop robust and scalable architectures.
  • Implementation Supervision: Oversee the implementation and integration of solutions.
  • Ensure performance and security: Guarantee the performance, security and scalability of the solutions implemented.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with technical and functional teams to ensure the success of digital transformation projects.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical and functional support to internal teams.
  • Documentation: Write the technical and functional documentation of the solutions developed.
  • Technical Governance: Provide technical authority over changes to application and technology architectures to ensure integration, stability, and integrity of solutions.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, systems analysis or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of five years of MS Dynamics technical experience.
  • Proficiency in the Dynamics 365 environment
  • Skills in integration with other systems and platforms.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Azure and Power Platform.
  • Ability to analyze business needs and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Experience in developing and customizing Dynamics 365.
  • Ability to work in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Skills

  • Knowledge of development languages.
  • Good understanding of SQL database technologies.
  • Knowledge of enterprise, cloud, or customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Hands-on experience with different modeling languages like UML and ArchiMate.
