Your impact

At Jacobs, we’re making our world better with every water and wastewater project we complete, and we know the importance of quality to the success of these projects. We’re looking for a skilled Quality Control Manager to implement the overall quality control program for the work being performed by Jacobs and our subcontractors for a complex progressive design build wastewater treatment facility project. Based in Cincinnati, Ohio, you’ll be a part of the design build team working with our subcontractors to implement our quality processes, managing 3rd party testing, inspections (including special inspections), and maintaining project documentation including reports and resolution of non-conformance. This position is accountable to the project manager for successful implementation of the quality control program on the project.

Here's What You’ll Also Do:

  • Works in collaboration with the assigned resident engineers, construction management staff, and design team to integrate quality into the project delivery
  • Manage development of the overall quality control program integrating subcontractor QC Plans
  • Monitor quality and ensure compliance to regulatory and industry-specific standards while using your unique background and diverse perspective to help shape the success of project quality plans
  • Review and resolve technical problems, ensure compliance on inspections, and help support field staff to ensure all quality procedures and inspections are complete
  • Manage overall quality control budget including staff and 3rd party services
  • Other tasks as may be assigned

Here's what you'll need

  • Minimum ten (10) years’ experience as QA/QC Manager, or similar experience
  • Ten years of design or construction experience on large multimillion-dollar water/wastewater projects
  • Knowledge of Safety Plans, and QA/QC Plans and Project Execution Plans
  • Effective oral and written skills for client presentations and technical reporting and correspondence
  • Demonstrated ability to interface with all levels of project team, client, and others
  • Knowledge of contract negotiation and administration

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Design Build Delivery experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

100,300.00

Posted Salary Range: Upper

156,750.00

The base salary range for this position is $100,300.00 to $156,750.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
