Provides administrative support to the Human Resources Manager and department in all areas including employee relations, staffing, compensation and benefits administration, and training. Maintains accurate records, personnel files, and the Human Resources database. Assists in carrying out policies and procedures throughout the HR department.

Position Overview: As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the HR department's daily operations. This position involves administrative tasks, assisting with recruitment efforts, and maintaining employee records. You’ll serve as a resource for both management and employees, ensuring a smooth and positive HR experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update employee records in HRIS and physical files.
  • Assist with recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews and processing new hire paperwork.
  • Coordinate onboarding and orientation sessions for new employees.
  • Support benefits administration and respond to employee inquiries.
  • Track attendance leaves of absence, and other timekeeping data.
  • Help organize employee engagement activities and recognition programs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations.
  • Prepare HR reports and documentation as needed.
  • Respond to employee questions regarding policies, procedures, and HR-related matters.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent require, Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a Human Resources role or currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software systems.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment and/or working with unionized workforces is a plus

Pay Range:

19.60 - 29.40
