Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and proactive SAP PO Application Manager to join our Transportation Management System (TMS) team. This role involves working closely with vendors, gathering and analyzing business requirements, and providing robust technical solutions within the SAP PO environment—specifically focused on transportation processes.

This position is ideal for someone with experience in SAP PO and troubleshooting SAP systems, especially within the transportation or logistics domain. The selected candidate will initially work towards taking over an existing role, and will later support the team with ongoing tasks including handling RFCs, managing reuses, and participating in customer-facing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet with vendors and internal stakeholders to gather technical and business requirements.
• Provide technical analysis and propose solutions within SAP PO for transportation-related scenarios.
• Understand and support the Transportation Management System (TMS), including its components and integration with external vendors.
• Troubleshoot SAP systems, including configurations and technical issues.
• Handle Request for Changes (RFCs) and ensure efficient reuse of existing components.
• Engage in application lifecycle management and support ongoing operations.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings and customer-facing activities.

Job Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience working with SAP, including troubleshooting and configuration.
• Strong experience with SAP PO.
• Solid understanding of application lifecycle management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn new technologies and domains.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with SAP Transportation Management System (TMS).
• Familiarity with SAP Sales and Distribution (SAP SD).
• Experience using JIRA and Azure DevOps.
• Exposure to Project Management practices or methodologies.
