About the Role

As an Innovation Project Manager within the Solenis Strategy Office, you’ll be at the forefront of driving product and process innovation – from idea to market. You'll lead complex projects through the full stage-gate process, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic goals.

This role is hybrid, with flexible home/office working. You’ll collaborate closely with global teams across R&D, Marketing, Business Units, and Supply Chain. Expect plenty of exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence the company’s innovation agenda.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute innovation projects – from concept to commercialization – ensuring speed to market and high-quality outcomes.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Facilitate collaboration between technical and non-technical teams across departments and geographies.
• Translate market and strategic insights into actionable innovation plans.
• Communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders at all levels – both commercial and technical.
• Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and roadblocks across teams.
• Ensure proper documentation and adherence to relevant quality and regulatory standards.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration).
• At least 5 years of project management experience, ideally within the chemical, water treatment, or industrial process sectors.
• Proven success in managing innovation or product development projects.
• Strong understanding of the development process for chemical or equipment-based innovations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills – capable of aligning diverse stakeholders and fostering effective teamwork.
• Able to work independently, with a hands-on mentality and structured approach.
• Comfortable using project management tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira, or Asana.
• Fluent in English – other languages are a plus but not required.
• Willingness to travel occasionally (less than 20%).
