Job Overview: The Golf Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting the LaunchPad Leadership Team in overseeing daily operations of the customer experience for our guests. This individual has general operational responsibilities as it relates to ensuring seamless guest experience, supervising staff, coordinating service and maintaining high standards of hospitality.

Create Lasting Change: The Impact You’ll Have:

  • Assist the Leadership Team in planning, training and development of the Concierge Team to give exceptional experience to all LaunchPad guests.
  • Assist with schedules to ensure staffing levels are optimal, and assign tasks to the supporting Concierge team
  • Interact, establish, and customize relationships with a wide variety of guests to improve retention, promote loyalty and enhance their experience. May participate in interviews and give feedback regarding team member performance.
  • Promptly and professionally address and resolve guest concerns or complaints, ensuring a positive outcome.
  • Provides breaks for other LaunchPad Managers.
  • Assist in creating membership options and frequent player programs.
  • Communicate effectively with Front-of-house, Back-of-house and Group Events teams to ensure all preparations are in place for serving guests.
  • Provide personalized recommendations and assistance to guests regarding dining options, entertainment, and other attractions within Mystic Lake.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all food and beverage offerings to confidently make recommendations to guests.
  • Understands POS and LaunchPad reservation technology.
  • Communicate daily booking schedule to key staff.
  • Support and may even lead a Group Event for exceptional golf entertainment experience.
  • Manage rental club and suite club inventory.
  • May act as LOD (Leader On duty) for entire establishment for assigned shifts.
  • Assist with maintaining knowledge of golf apparel trends, working with vendors, and maintaining LP merchandise stock.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Any combination of post-high school restaurant education and restaurant management experience to equal two years.
  • Excellent Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lead, and mentor staff indirectly.
  • Proven track record of delivering superior customer service.
  • Basic computer proficiencies include MS Office, word, email, and related business software.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Capacity to handle and lift up to 25 lbs. as needed.
  • Have the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations, including on feet 90% of time.
