Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed, Office, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)
Job Description
Responsibilities and work include:
- TSMC Taichung, Tainan and Kaohsiung tasks coordination and issue escalation meeting Participation.
- Coordination on-site installation of complex equipment and follow testing procedures to ensure accurate functioning.
- Conduct on-site scheduled planned maintenance visits
- Provide fixing and repair support for customers and other field service plan.
- Cultivate and develop positive working relationships with customers, system users and company personnel
- Travel, often at short notice, to customer sites to resolve problems or support other field service.
- Service tickets tracking and progress follow up.
- Provide training for customers and users on system maintenance
- Provide feedback to product quality teams
- Provide appropriate input in writing updating and correcting various TMO system documentation
- Provide feedback for various reports including identifying and isolating remarkable problems with systems.
- Act as a subject expert and resource for training
The Requirements
This position is ideal for an experienced service engineer wanting to be involved with a dynamic team and exposed to a constant variety of customer application areas. The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:
- Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience in electronic system solving
- Typically requires 2-7 years hands on technical experience installing, fixing, repairing and calibrating complex analysis tools such as SEM, TEM, FIB or similar systems.
- Experience solving and repairing ultra high vacuum and high voltage systems is highly desired.
- Ability to deal effectively with customers
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Proven track record to solving complex systems and subsystems down to component level
- Literate in MS DOS and Windows software environments
Able to read and interpret schematics
