UX Researcher – Hybrid (Barcelona, 3 Days/Week)

As an experienced UX Researcher, you understand that there’s no such thing as a “typical” user experience. You’re passionate about uncovering user needs and driven to enhance experiences across every touchpoint. Your curiosity fuels your work, and you thrive on embedding critical customer insights throughout the product development lifecycle.

At Sage, you’ll join a diverse, multidisciplinary team where your research will directly shape our roadmap and continuously improve our products and services. This hybrid role is based in our Barcelona office three days a week.

You’ll bring your expertise to guide and support the team in research activities and methodologies. You’ll collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and developers—challenging assumptions and advocating for user needs to ensure we not only meet expectations but exceed them.

Sage is all about chasing that “eureka” moment—whether it’s solving a problem, discovering a new insight, or growing your own skills through training. You’ll experience that excitement daily while helping hundreds of thousands of users achieve their goals.

  • Adapt your approach to suit project needs, using both formal methodologies and informal, lean UX or guerrilla techniques.
  • Analyse and synthesize insights from multiple sources, including user research, analytics, databases, and A/B testing.
  • Communicate findings clearly and persuasively to influence peers, stakeholders, and senior leaders.

  • Comfortable working independently or collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills—both in person and remotely.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English, with the ability to conduct research in both languages (additional languages are a plus).
