Business Function
Risk Management Group (RMG) works closely with our business partners to manage the bank’s risk exposure by balancing its objective to maximise returns against an acceptable risk profile. We partner with origination teams to provide financing, investments and hedging opportunities to our customers. To manage risk effectively and run a successful business, we invest significantly in our people and infrastructure.
The Platform and Data Team of the Credit COO Office under RMG works to strengthen risk management through digitisation for effective policy implementation, proactive portfolio management, internal and regulatory reporting, and reducing employee toil.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Business (Corporate and Retail), Technology, Design, Compliance, and Operations to deliver improved risk management, drive business growth, and exceptional user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Understand business processes, policies, data, and platforms in RMG Credit
- Apply our 4D (Discover, Define, Design, Deliver) approach to identify and define product opportunities and implement them using Agile methodology
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders, challenge status quo, and break barriers
- Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritize features based on business value and user impact
- Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation through design, development, launch, and user support
- Establish a constructive feedback loop to continuously optimise and improve the product
- Define and track KPIs to ensure business benefits are achieved
- Empathise with our staff, evaluate change impact, resistance, and risks; thereafter implementing suitable change management strategies to address them
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, track progress against milestones, and proactively identify and mitigate risks to ensure timely delivery

- Knowledge of credit products, lending processes, and regulatory requirements is a plus
