Job description:
Identify and research on new technologies in electronic materials, thermal management, electronic packaging, display, etc. to support the growth opportunities.
Participates in customer engagements to understand and analyze market needs. Generate and execute the proof-of-concept plans to quick verify technical feasibility.
Design and conduct lab experiments to formulate new products. Lead the necessary internal and external communications to build technology platform for new product exploration.
Collect information of competitors, end users and industries, monitor technology trends and make analysis/proposals for counteraction.
Work with global / local commercial and production team on product development and customer support activities
Cross-functions communications on projects
Qualifications:
Master degree or above in electronics materials, electronics, polymer, materials, chemistry, or related.
Minimum 3 years of experience in new material research and development, experience in electronics or semiconductor industry would be preferred.
Strong academic background in electronics materials, polymer materials, nano materials, thermal management materials, etc. Rich knowledge in composite material design, synthesis, processing, and testing methodologies.
Innovative in problem solving, open minded and quick learning. Enthusiastic for complex technical challenges.
Systematic planning, execution and experimental skills.
Strong communication and presentation skills
Fluent oral English as a working language
