Learning & Development - Talent Acquisition Professional

We are currently looking for an HR Professional for our organisation based in Belgium (Groot-Bijgaarden).

This HR Professional role is crucial to the organization, involving daily, trust-based interactions with both management and employees.

This position will support the team in achieving the company strategy, focusing on attracting the best profiles, ensuring a best-in-class onboarding and supporting their development throughout their career. The HR Professional will act as an advisor to our managers.

The position reports functionally to the HR Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Talent Acquisition

  • In collaboration with our internal recruiter (RPO), follow up on recruitment activities by supporting the hiring manager as needed
  • Promote and coordinate local internship programs, manage summer student recruitment campaigns and handle temporary workforce requirements
  • Drive employer branding initiatives, represent the company at job fairs and cultivate long-term partnerships with key educational institutions
  • Manage the onboarding process for new joiners

Learning & Development

  • Have a clear understanding of the company strategy and the business needs, as well as the impact of those elements on the local organization
  • Collect training needs and define yearly training plan
  • Develop and maintain relationship with external training partners
  • Manage the performance evaluation process according to the global guidelines
  • Ensure strategic resource planning and succession planning for key roles
  • Develop and maintain local development programs
  • Act as a local coach to support our employees in their development and self-fulfillment
  • Maintain the HR intranet pages relating to People & Culture topics

PROFILE DESCRIPTION

  • Master’s Degree, preferably in Occupational Psychology or HR Management
  • Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in an HR department or recruitment company
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • At ease with digitalization processes and tools
  • Good knowledge of Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Power point)
  • Results oriented and proactive
  • Open-minded, autonomous, flexible and well organized
  • Coaching certification is a plus
  • Native Dutch speaker with a perfect knowledge of French (written and verbal). Good knowledge of English
