Founded in 2015, Knack Works, based out of Northern Virginia, was formed to address the demand for cutting-edge development environments within the intelligence community. Knack Works is focused on providing scalable, automated solutions that enable our customers to perform their national security missions in an ever-changing environment of new technologies and evolving threats. Our flagship product, the "Knack Stack," introduces flexible and automated hybrid cloud infrastructure as a service for cloud-agnostic deployments and automation. It's designed to automate data management and security. Today, we operate independently as Knack Works, a subsidiary of Jacobs. We are fortunate to retain our identity as a small business, yet with support from a large company. We are looking for a team-centric leader who focuses on solving complex problems, can formulate new solutions, and thrives working with a diverse technical team in a complex technical environment. As a leader, this position is critical to technical delivery leadership, technical business knowledge, resources, and client management.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Government's point of contact.
  • Provide technical supervision and guidance for all personnel assigned to the contract.
  • Help develop efficiency improvements and best business practices to the program office.
  • Oversee all contractual responsibilities and delivery of all contract deliverables.
  • Ensure an efficient, effective, and economical level of contract support is provided to the program office.
  • Develop and manage risk and opportunities
  • Develop and manage on-contract growth targets
  • Develop and manage program master schedule
  • Provide oversight of staff and support activities.
  • Manage contract financials.
  • Manage overall contract performance to include providing subcontract management, monitoring invoicing, coordinating contract change proposals; and understanding the needs and customer expectations to ensure customer satisfaction. Some local travel can be expected.
  • Manage all internal contract reporting.

Here's what you'll need

  • Must be willing to work on-site in Northern Virginia
  • Possess TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly
  • 7+ years’ experience as a Sr. Project or Program Manager within the IC Community
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or Cyber related field
  • Strong management, leadership, written, and oral communications skills
  • Experience in Government acquisition
  • Familiarity with industry best practices and Government contract and subcontract management
  • Must be able to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (preferred)

Posted Salary Range: Minimum

160,000.00

Posted Salary Range: Upper

200,000.00

Employee total compensation is designed with total well-being in mind. The base salary range for this position is $160,000.00 to $200,000.00. When evaluating compensation, it's important to note Knack's unique total compensation model which includes an additional PSP and IBA contribution. The actual salary is dependent upon work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience and relevant education.
