Overview

PepsiCo is hiring for R&D Process Analytical Technology (PAT) Scientist to join in Leicester on a 18 months FTC role.

The main objective of this role is to build Process Analytical Technology capability for the Measurement Sciences team in Europe.

Responsibilities

• Work with online analytical technology team to develop appropriate methods for the Europe region
• Work with Global SME and instrument vendor to upskill and become regional SME for online analytical technology
• Lead the deployment and optimisation of online analytical methodology across Europe food plants
• Work with regional engineering team to support Capex projects in Europe, ensuring that equipment is installed and calibrated correctly.
• Provide Training & Troubleshooting to plant personnel on analytical technology.

Qualifications

• Experience: At least 3 years in the snacks industry, with knowledge of PC lines and OIT screen operation.
• Technical Insight: Experience in process analytical technology, product/process development and manufacturing scale-up.
• Skills: Strong organizational, time management, teamwork, interpersonal, IT, and presentation skills.
