We are seeking a Lead Quality Engineer to join a dedicated, multi-functional, agile product development team responsible for delivering high-quality and timely software systems for our Analytics product in Analytics division.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Spearhead technical implementation of quality control and testing, while mentoring team members and assigning tests to Associate, Engineer and Senior Engineer levels.
  • Architect and implement comprehensive technical testing programs throughout product lifecycles that thoroughly address functionality, compatibility, reliability and usability - ensuring excellence at every stage!
  • Act as owner quality control planning aligned with interpersonal standards to guarantee software exceeds specified business and customer needs.
  • Lead with data testing requirements by evaluating product specifications and collaborate with product owners, business analysts and customers to resolve ambiguities.
  • Build responsibly deliver incrementally test plans and scripts while maintaining all customer technology solutions with timely issue resolution.
  • Excellence improvements to quality control frameworks, processes and methodologies to continuously elevate standards.

Skills and Experience

  • 8+ years in software delivery domain - confirmed experience that makes a difference!
  • Demonstrated mastery of testing processes: strategy development, planning, design execution, reporting and measurement.
  • Strong hands-on proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, C#, GO), plus experience with technical elements like low-latency market data processing and databases.
  • Advanced expertise with automation test frameworks (Pytest, Cucumber, JMeter) and shown ability to establish test automation for multi-tier, on-prem and cloud-based solutions including API, database, and end-to-end integrations.
  • Practical knowledge of DevOps tooling (GitLab, pipelines) and CICD methodology.
  • Embodies agile methodologies with exceptional quality ownership and risk assessment skills.
  • Continuously researches and adopts proper tooling and new technologies - staying ahead of the curve!
  • Understanding of financial markets; experience testing financial software a plus.
