The Product Owner, MarTech leads strategic initiatives across the digital commerce ecosystem, improving customer experiences across B2C and B2B2C channels. Operating within a connected landscape of Magento, Sitecore, Microsoft Dynamics, and mobile platforms, this role ensures alignment and execution across teams.
While not managing platform backlogs directly, the Product Manager partners with platform owners to drive cross-functional efforts, enhance conversion experiences, and align sales enablement with business goals. Success requires strong ecommerce expertise and connecting strategy with execution.
What you’ll bring to the role:
Strategic Initiative Ownership
- Lead cross-functional, enterprise-level digital initiatives with a focus on marketing and commerce outcomes.
- Prioritize and drive greenfield projects that support new business opportunities, customer engagement, and digital sales enablement.
- Partner with platform Product Owners (Magento, Sitecore) to ensure project delivery aligns with technical feasibility and strategic priorities.
Stakeholder & Vendor Collaboration
- Work across ecommerce, certification, marketing, sales, IT, and customer experience teams to ensure goals are aligned and dependencies managed.
- Manage up and down – effectively communicate with executives while enabling cross-functional delivery teams.
- Coordinate with vendors and external partners to manage technology integrations and resolve challenges.
Commerce Experience & Conversion Strategy
- Optimize key ecommerce touchpoints across B2C and B2B2C funnels—from entry points to checkout and post-purchase flows.
- Infuse digital product thinking with modern marketing and conversion strategies to drive business growth.
- Advocate for the user across channels (web, mobile, CRM), ensuring consistency and clarity in messaging and experience.
Technology Stack & System Integration
- Operate within a dynamic marketing and commerce ecosystem including:
- Magento (Adobe Commerce)
- Sitecore (CMS/Web)
- Adobe Analytics
- Microsoft Dynamics (CRM/Operations)
- Mobile App
- Navigate interlocks across systems, helping identify dependencies, technical considerations, and integration opportunities.
- Serve as the connective tissue between technical teams and business stakeholders.
Agile Execution
- Define roadmaps, feature sets, and user stories that support large-scale initiatives across teams.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and reviews to ensure on-time and on-strategy delivery.
- Coordinate delivery schedules, blockers, and priorities across internal and external teams.
Data & Performance Insights
- Use Adobe Analytics and other tools to track key performance indicators and uncover actionable insights.
- Lead or support A/B testing, journey analysis, and marketing performance optimization.
- Inform prioritization through a strong understanding of customer behavior, content performance, and marketing ROI.
Role Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in product management, with strong focus on MarTech or commerce systems
- Proven success leading cross-functional initiatives that connect marketing and ecommerce platforms
- Strong understanding of B2C and B2B2C commerce models, user engagement, and conversion best practices
- Hands-on experience with or strong knowledge of Magento, Sitecore, Adobe Analytics, Microsoft Dynamics, and mobile platforms
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience with vendor relationships
- Agile project delivery experience with a focus on coordination across multiple squads or delivery teams
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Skilled in translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements for cross-functional teams.
- Proven leadership in backlog grooming, user story creation, and sprint planning.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on delivering business value and exceptional user experiences.
- Proficient in visual documentation tools such as Miro and Visio to map workflows, data flows, and customer journeys.
- Experienced in defining and documenting API integrations, data inputs/outputs, and success metrics.
