Bring your passion for people, health and wellness to dsm-firmenich! We’re seeking a strategic, hands-on HR leader to join our i-Health team. As Associate Director, Business Unit HR Business Partner i-Health, you’ll be the driving force behind our people strategy, partnering with senior leaders to shape culture, develop talent, and influence key decisions. You’ll be responsible for fully supporting key client groups within i-Health across a range of strategic and tactical HR areas, including Organizational Development, Talent Management, Compensation and Employment Relations. The position reports to Senior VP HR Health, Nutrition & Care.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted HR advisor and sparring partner to business leaders, cross-functional leads and front-line teams to foster greater collaboration across the regions and functional teams.
  • Support the translation of business strategy into actionable people initiatives and plans to achieve business objectives and enable long-term sustainable growth.
  • Lead transformation initiatives in partnership with the business leaders by aligning organization structures, ways of working, and capabilities to adapt to evolving business needs and priorities.
  • Design and implement strategies for identifying, developing, and retaining talent to build a future-ready workforce and is responsible for talent pipeline and succession planning for the business.
  • Advocate and implement HR initiatives and frameworks within the business and provide business insights to maximize effectiveness and relevancy of these programs.
  • Take care of day-to-day operational HR tasks

This position is eligible for the dsm-firmenich Hybrid Working model, spending 3 days per week in the Shelton, CT office and the balance of the work week in a home office.

You Bring

  • Minimum 8 years of HR Business Partnering experience in fast-paced consumer goods organizations (CPG) required
  • An ability to be a strategic partner to the most senior members of the business leadership team as well as providing hands-on HR support to functional and frontline teams
  • A track record of success in aligning HR initiatives with business goals
  • Exceptional skills in stakeholder management, collaboration, and driving organizational change
  • Strong business and financial acumen and curiosity and willingness to continuously learn
  • A passion for developing talent and fostering an inclusive, growth-oriented culture.\
