College Co-op Student Job Description:

The Accumulators department is responsible for ensuring accumulators are aligned across all vendors. Where discrepancies exist, the team identifies the root cause and remediates. Additionally, the department provides oversight for all adjustment projects for the Independence Blue Cross Family of Companies by testing & validating the expected outcome for the adjustments prior to project submission to the 3rd party medical vendor. This includes following through to adjustment completion and reconciling to ensure all adjustments were completed as expected.

The co-op student will:

• Have the opportunity to work in a detail-oriented environment using analytical skills to troubleshoot and rectify discrepancies in member accumulator balances across multiple vendors and various departments within the organization.
• Gain visibility into claims operations and the mechanics, affording an opportunity to gain knowledge of the claim adjustment process from an end-to-end perspective.

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of MicroSoft Office with a high level of proficiency in Excel
• Detail-oriented mindset
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent oral & written communication skills
• Knowledge of Tableau a plus
• SQL experience desirable

Preferred Majors:

Accounting, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Administration

Classification:

Sophomore, Junior, Senior, recent graduate

GPA:

3.5+
