As the Marketing Manager for the insurance vertical you’ll be responsible for driving marketing excellence and delivering against the objectives of the India Insurance business. You’ll work closely with product management, sales and functional areas to understand business objectives and ensure that marketing programs are achieved on target and on brand. You’ll have the support of the core marketing team to drive marketing programs, including but not limited to; content marketing, senior-level customer experiences and events, brand discovery and consideration activities (advertising, email communications and webinars), and industry-specific marketing communications to internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities will include:
1. Message and Value Proposition Development and Maintenance
Messaging and value proposition development is a critical component of this job as how we communicate our value to our internal and external stakeholders directly impacts our success. This person will be responsible for understanding the competitive landscape, customer opinions and concerns and product/solution benefits, and translating those findings into compelling and impactful messaging that resonates with both internal and external audiences.
2. Integrated Marketing: Demand Generation and Retention
The Direct Marketing activities this role will focus on are demand generation, lead nurturing and retention for a specific insurance sector. This position will work directly with the Senior Marketing Leader, Product Director and Sales Director to develop a yearly comprehensive marketing plan for their specific target audience. The marketing plan will contain but will not be limited to new product Go To Market programs, PR, market research initiatives and content marketing programs.
3. Sales & Marketing Alignment
One of the main goals of this position is to be fully aligned with the market planning and sales organisation to ensure marketing strategies (programs and campaigns) are aligned to the sales goals and revenue targets. This position will work very closely with the marketing leader and sales function to understand overall business goals, product roadmaps and revenue targets and design marketing programs around those goals.
