Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in product design or UX design.
- Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience working in a complex, cross-functional organization.
- 1 year of experience leading design projects.
- Experience with the evolving landscape of living room entertainment and smart home technologies.
- Understanding of media and entertainment consumption patterns, including cross-platform behaviors between TV, mobile, and emerging devices e.g., wearables, voice assistants, XR, etc.

As a UX Designer for Google TV, you will play a part in building the future of how people experience entertainment. Based on our Bangalore site, you will work closely with the transactional video, Ambient, and Photos teams for TV, contributing to the Google TV product development. You will focus on designing seamless and intuitive user experiences across a connected ecosystem, including TV screens, mobile devices, and emerging technologies. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements, and provide solutions.
- Communicate the user experience at various stages of the design process with wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, or high fidelity prototypes.
- Create designs by user insights, business objectives, industry trends, and the unique constraints and opportunities presented by TVs and interconnected devices.
- Advocate for the prioritization of design centered changes, refinements, and improvements.
- Produce comprehensive design solutions, specs, and prototypes considering TV interfaces, alongside their mobile counterparts and extensions into emerging interaction models e.g., voice, gestures, etc.
