About the Role: 

IPSY is looking to hire a Learning & Transformation Manager to lead research, development and implementation of our NOW of work strategy. IPSY’s culture has gone through a transformation from an office based work setting to remote first with employees across many states in the United States as well as internationally in Canada, Mexico and throughout South America - we call this the NOW of work. 

We are looking for a Learning & Transformation Manager to lead programming for our remote-first culture to ensure employee engagement, performance, and overall organizational health as we continue to drive innovation and disruption in the beauty industry. 

This Learning & Transformation Manager will assess and enhance employee experience, leadership effectiveness, transformation, change management and employee development. This role will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing impactful leadership and employee development programs, offering measurable outcomes. 

This position reports to the Sr. Director, Employee Experiences, Learning & Inclusion and is hybrid remote in the San Francisco Bay area. 

What You’ll Be Doing: 

  • Be an agent of change: Ensure engagement and understanding about the IPSY transformation. 
  • Research, evangelize and activate the future of work for employees at IPSY. 
  • Be able to articulate and measure the joint employee and business value of our “NOW” of work. 
  • Lead special projects and initiatives that support the overall mission and vision of the organization in a remote first setting to reflect the “NOW” of work. 
  • Leverage analysis, data, and trend information to offer insights into both the needs of the organization and the business impact and performance of existing programs. 
  • Assist in establishing organization-wide processes and initiatives that promote organization health and employee engagement and satisfaction. 
  • Apply learning principles and practices to design, develop, implement and sustain learning and development initiatives which enhance individual, team and organizational performance. 
  • Benchmark best practices and emerging trends for employee experience, culture, instructional design and education, organization development, and performance management. 
  • Conduct learning and education needs analysis, identifying opportunities for program revisions and enhancements. 
  • Bridge the gap between new business practices and the necessary education, while ensuring a high standard of service and care to employees.

What We are Looking For: 

  • 5-8 years of experience in, learning and development, transformation and change management, human capital management or a related field. 
  • Proven track record in leading organizational change initiatives, preferably in a remote or hybrid work environment. 
  • Strategic thinker and potential to grow to become strong number two to Senior Director leader. 
  • Experience in data analysis and using data-driven insights to inform organizational strategies and program effectiveness.
  • Strong background in adult learning principles, instructional design, and developing/implementing training programs. 
  • Knowledge of best practices in areas such as employee engagement, organizational culture, performance management, and talent development. 
  • Experience conducting needs assessments, program evaluations, and identifying opportunities for improvement. 
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and leading collaborative cross-functional initiatives. 
  • Strong consultative and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse groups. 
  • Excellent communication and facilitation abilities, both in-person and in virtual settings 
  • Demonstrated ability to write, develop and deliver successful presentations to individuals and groups at all levels of an organization.

  • Certifications or advanced degrees in fields such as Human Capital Management, Transformation / Change Management, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or Adult Education.

Salary Range: $115,000 - $138,500 USD 

Pay is based on several non discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and office location. In addition to your salary, IPSY also offers a bonus, equity grants and competitive benefits package. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills and may vary from the range listed above.
