As a Structural Bridge Engineer and vital member of our Chicago team, you’ll have the opportunity to work on transportation projects that focus on bridges and other transportation structure designs. You will serve in a technical role on bridge design projects and perform complex structural analysis and design for all structural aspects of transportation projects on local and national projects.

We’ll look for your knowledge and experience in: planning, analysis, design, plan preparation, specification development, bridge inspections, and report writing.

Here's what you'll need

  • Relevant previous experience in bridge design experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
  • PE License preferred
  • Previous experience working with clients in the Chicago market
  • Demonstrated experience in structural engineering analysis and design on structural transportation projects.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Extensive working knowledge of CAD systems – MicroStation and AutoCAD
  • Demonstrated experience on various types of bridges, to include analysis, design and plan development of new and rehabilitation projects
  • Thorough understanding of and practical experience applying the AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications to transportation structures

Posted Salary Range: Minimum

73,500.00

Posted Salary Range: Upper

128,600.00

The base salary range for this position is $73,500.00 to $128,600.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
