We are seeking a Managing Director with traditional investment banking DNA and a sharp edge for innovation — someone who can build and lead our Crypto & Blockchain Investment Banking franchise. This role is open to candidates throughout the United States, who will report into either our New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, or Chicago offices.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead origination and execution of M&A and capital raise transactions ($50M–$500M+) for top-tier and emerging companies in blockchain, DeFi, digital asset infrastructure, fintech, and tokenization
• Serve as strategic advisor to C-suite executives, crypto-native founders, and institutional investors navigating growth, capital strategy, and disruption
• Build and deepen client relationships across crypto-native firms, blockchain VCs, hedge funds, family offices, and digital asset managers
• Drive deal teams from pitch through close, while recruiting and mentoring top junior talent
• Represent Wedbush at major conferences and media outlets as a thought leader in digital asset banking
• Collaborate across the firm — from research and sales to trading — to offer full-stack solutions to innovative clients

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
• 10+ years of investment banking experience at a leading global or boutique IB platform required
• Demonstrated ability to originate and close complex, high-profile transactions — M&A, capital raises, strategic advisory
• Direct experience or deep interest in blockchain, digital assets, or frontier technologies
• A strong personal network of institutional investors, VCs, PE firms, and fintech operators
• Advanced expertise in corporate finance, valuation, modeling, and transaction structuring
• FINRA Series 79 and 63 required; Series 24 a plus
• Highly entrepreneurial mindset, leadership presence, and the drive to build something industry-defining

The reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic location. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $250,000. Colleagues may be eligible for additional, discretionary incentive compensation based on the colleague's and the firm's performance.
