Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager, Floor Planning

In this role, you will support the execution of space planning and planogram strategies to optimize retail space utilization, enhance customer experience, and drive sales. You will collaborate with client teams to assist in the implementation of store layouts and product placements.

Skillset :

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide insights to the client.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exposure to working with various store formats and client-specific merchandising strategies.

Responsibilities:

Floor Planning & Layout Management:

  • Maintain and update the client’s store floor plans to ensure optimal space utilization.
  • Identify and reduce discrepancies between recommended and actual store space allocations.
  • Use data analytics to determine the ideal product assortment and improve store layout efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the client’s retail, design, and merchandising teams to develop floor plans that reflect the brand identity and enhance the customer journey.

Operations & Execution:

  • Ensure accurate execution of the client’s space planning and merchandising strategies.
  • Maintain governance and control over store layout data to ensure consistency across locations.
  • Track and improve key performance metrics related to space utilization, planogram compliance, and operational efficiency.

Stakeholder Management & Client Coordination:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for the client’s teams regarding space planning and execution.
  • Work closely with the client’s store managers, marketing, and operations teams to implement and optimize merchandising initiatives.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to the client, addressing concerns and ensuring alignment with their business goals.

Qualifications We Seek in You!

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Retail Management, Operations, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience in space planning, planogram development, and retail store layout optimization for clients.
  • Hands-on experience with space planning tools like JDA/Blue Yonder, Relex, Nexgen, or Apollo Retail.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide insights to the client.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working with multiple store formats and client-specific merchandising strategies.
