Job Description

Processing of defined purchasing and procurement processes in accordance with internal guidelines.

  • Opening and processing of orders in the IT systems provided for this purpose (e.g. SAP, Simple System, etc.) in accordance with incoming requirements
  • Support in market analysis and optimization of the supplier portfolio in your own area of responsibility
  • Support in requesting quotations (e.g. for comparison purposes)
  • Support in conducting price negotiations within defined value limits and after coordination with strategic purchasing, also for larger contracts
  • Processing of returns in coordination with the specialist departments
  • Operational tracking of order processes
  • Optimizing order quantities as part of the procurement processes
  • Support in master data maintenance in the relevant systems
  • Support in supplier evaluation, supplier optimization after coordination
  • Independent completion of necessary administrative work (e.g. correspondence, preparatory work for accounting and cost accounting, etc.)

Qualifications

Knowledge acquired as part of at least 3 years of training (technical or commercial) and extended by at least 2-3 years of experience in the areas of procurement, purchasing or logistics.

  • 2-3 years of supplier management and purchasing processes
  • Technical understanding of purchased components/services
  • 2-3 years of order planning and processes
  • IT (Office programs and ERP)
