POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Senior Localization Project Manager is responsible for planning and executing complex localization projects of varying scope for multiple end clients, managing key tasks such as resource planning, coordinating cross-functional efforts, overseeing quality management, and ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets. The Senior PM will be dedicated to one or more accounts, acting as the primary point of contact for clients on all project-related matters.

Location: United States (remote)

Working hours: 9 am to 6 pm PST, with 8 hours of productive work and a 1-hour lunch break.

Reports to: PM Program Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and schedule complex software/multimedia/marketing/documentation localization projects; evaluate and provide quotes; allocate resources; develop budget, schedule, and quality parameters
• Track project progress to ensure that quality, deliveries, and cost stay on plan.
• Manage
• day-to-day
• relationships with clients on project matters; provide regular status reports and proactively offer solutions to ensure customer satisfaction
• Communicates regularly to management, customers, project team members, and other stakeholders, actively requesting and addressing customer and project team feedback.
• Facilitate effective communication within the project team (translators, engineers, publishers, etc.)
• Assist in business development efforts to create project proposals, providing support to sales management in costing and planning projects and with customer presentations
• Ensure completion of all project-driven administrative processes

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years’ experience in localization project management
• University degree in related field or equivalent military or professional experience
• Experience working on the vendor side of localization
• Superb project management skills, including prioritization, scheduling, and documentation
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills and awareness of cross-cultural issues
• Resourceful, creative, and well-organized with an ability to prioritize and proactively offer solutions
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Project.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage shifting priorities, demands, and timelines.
• Leadership and supervisory skills

DESIRABLE

• Experience with TM Tools.
• PMP certification.
• Proficiency in at least one additional language other than English.
