Working within our Outpatient Division means joining a team that prioritizes clinical growth, work-life balance, and real impact in the community. Salary: $60000 to $65000 / annually - depending upon education / experience / licensure

Hours:

This is a 40-hour full-time benefitted position which includes some evenings required.

Job Summary

The Therapist plans, organizes and implements clinical social work services to consumers and families involved in the Co-Occurring IOP Program.

Responsibilities

  • Plans for discharge and aftercare.
  • Maintains contact with referring agencies and related people and with community resources used for referral.
  • Maintains treatment records according to agency standards and regulations.
  • Ensures coordination of care with SCIP (Screening & Crisis Intervention Program), local and state hospitals, and other treatment team members for consumers.
  • Maintains positive working relationships with community agencies.
  • Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to any age-related needs of the consumers served.
  • Demonstrates the knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the consumer population served.
  • Must be able to assess and interpret data about the consumer’s status in order to identify each consumer’s needs and provide care based on agency approved evidence based practice models.

Qualifications

  • MSW from an accredited school of social work or Master’s degree in a related counseling field with at least one year of experience required.
  • Clinical license or license eligibility is required.
  • Must be able to work under required deadlines and schedules, while being flexible to special projects and requests.
  • Must be able to professionally handle stressful situations.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and if duties require driving, be able to drive an agency owned vehicle.
